EXPLORE SOUTH AFRICA ON A HARLEY DAVIDSON

There are few better ways to experience South Africa than from the seat of a Harley Davidson. Open roads, mountain passes, coastal highways and dramatic changes in landscape make the country an extraordinary destination for motorcycle travel. Amakhaya Harley Tours provides Harley Davidson rentals in South Africa from Cape Town, giving visiting riders the freedom to experience the Western Cape and plan longer motorcycle adventures beyond the city.

Whether you are visiting for a few days or planning a longer riding holiday, Cape Town provides an ideal starting point. Riders looking specifically for a bike in the city can explore our Harley hire in Cape Town options, while those comparing different motorcycles and rental possibilities can visit our complete guide to motorcycle rentals in South Africa.

HARLEY DAVIDSON RENTAL FROM CAPE TOWN

Cape Town combines easy access to exceptional riding roads with some of South Africa's most recognisable scenery. Within a relatively short ride, motorcyclists can experience the Atlantic coastline, mountain passes, vineyards, small towns and long stretches of open road. This makes a Harley rental particularly attractive for international riders who want more than ordinary sightseeing and would rather experience the Cape from the road.

The city is also the gateway to some outstanding longer journeys. Riders can travel through the Cape Winelands, explore the Overberg, head towards the Garden Route or design a multi-day itinerary through the Western Cape. If Cape Town itself is your main destination, our motorcycle rental Cape Town page provides additional information for riders looking to hire a motorcycle locally.

PLAN YOUR OWN SOUTH AFRICAN MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURE

Not every rider wants to follow a fixed itinerary. One of the advantages of renting a motorcycle is having the flexibility to decide where to ride, how far to travel and how long to spend in each destination. Experienced riders can create an independent journey around the Cape while using Cape Town as their arrival and departure point.

Our guide to self-guided motorcycle tours in South Africa is designed for riders who prefer this freedom. It introduces the possibilities of independent motorcycle travel while connecting you with the rental options needed to turn the route into an actual riding holiday.

DISCOVER SOUTH AFRICA'S MOTORCYCLE ROADS

South Africa rewards riders who want variety. A single journey can move from ocean roads to mountain passes, farmland, vineyards and semi-arid landscapes. Around Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula provides an immediate introduction to the region's riding potential, while longer routes allow riders to experience considerably more of the Western Cape.

For those who would rather experience the region as part of an organised ride, Amakhaya also offers motorcycle tours in South Africa. Riders staying closer to the city can explore our motorcycle tours in Cape Town and discover some of the spectacular roads surrounding the Cape Peninsula.

HARLEY DAVIDSON TOURS AND RIDING EXPERIENCES

Renting a Harley is only one way to experience these roads. Some visitors prefer the structure and local knowledge of an organised ride, particularly when visiting South Africa for the first time. Our Harley Davidson tours combine the character of Harley riding with routes selected to showcase the Cape's scenery and road network.

For visitors who want the Harley experience without necessarily planning an extended motorcycle holiday, our Harley Davidson experience in Cape Town provides another way to enjoy the motorcycle culture and scenery of the region.

START YOUR HARLEY JOURNEY IN CAPE TOWN

A Harley Davidson rental in South Africa gives experienced riders something that conventional sightseeing cannot: the ability to experience the landscape as part of the journey itself. Cape Town provides the starting point, but where the road leads from there depends on the kind of adventure you want to create.

Amakhaya Harley Tours brings together motorcycle rental, Harley experiences and touring options for visitors who want to explore South Africa on two wheels. From a day riding around the Cape Peninsula to a longer journey through the Western Cape, your South African Harley adventure can begin in Cape Town.
