Do I need a licence to rent?
Yes—age 23+ and a valid motorcycle licence held for at least 1 year.
What’s included?

What is the deposit/excess?
Credit-card damage deposit; excess up to R15,000 per incident.
Can you tailor a tour?
Yes—half-day to multi-day itineraries, small groups to incentives up to 60 people.
What happens if the wind or weather turns bad on the day?
We watch the forecast (the Cape Doctor can howl). If conditions aren’t safe or enjoyable, we’ll reschedule at no charge or help you switch to a shorter/alternative route. If you can’t reschedule, talk to us—fair refunds/credits apply on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer hotel pickup and drop-off?
Yes. City Bowl, Waterfront, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Constantia are covered; other areas on request. We’ll confirm pickup time windows and any surcharges when you enquire or book.
Can children ride as pillions?
We prioritise safety. As a guideline, pillions should be tall enough to place both feet on the pegs and confident holding on. We recommend ~10+ years; final discretion rests with your guide/rider on the day.
What should I wear—and what gear do you provide?
Wear long pants, closed shoes/boots, and a light jacket (layers are best). We provide DOT/ECE helmets and riding jackets (S–XXL) and have gloves available. Hygiene liners are offered for helmets.
I’m new to left-hand traffic—can I get a practice session?
Absolutely. Book a 10–15 min acclimatisation loop around Hout Bay with a quick controls & safety briefing before your ride. If you prefer, choose a chauffeured tour and enjoy the views while our pro rides.

Terms And Conditions
- Use of rental motorcycles is only allowed on paved roads.
- Renter must be at least 23 years of age and in possession of a valid motorbike license, issued at least a year in advance with adequate riding experience.
- At pick-up of the rental bike you are required to leave a credit card damage deposit with the rental station. Renter is liable for maximum ZAR 15.000 damage excess per incident.
- A 30% deposit is applicable for bookings, which is non refundable in case of no show.
- No refunds for early returns.
- Visa, Master Card and Amex credit cards are accepted for payments and deposits.
